YOU WILL NOT REGRET A CLASS WITH BURGE!! MUSC 191 was definitely one of the hardest classes I have taken all year but it was well worth it for his glorious, understanding personality. You WILL have to work hard in this class to pass but attending lectures is easy with his positive attitude. You can count on Burge to put a smile on your face!

Burge is misunderstood I think and that is unfair. I think he's a good professor, and a wonderful musician. I agree with the concept that he should grow up a bit. He does pick favourites though, and those who are not on his probable list of "future upper theory class" potential.
