Cassidy was one of my absolute fave profs... unforunately he's retired now so no one else will get to have him... absolutely wonderful prof and nice guy... knowledgeable, funny, helpful... i wish all profs were like him... enjoy retirement in puerto rico prof cassidy!!!

John Cassidy is a great teacher. The class can get a little confusing, so if you take it, it is best to keep up with the homework. As long as you go to class and do the hw, everything should work out for the best. He is more than willing to help you out if you need it.

So glad to see he will be teaching Intro to Philosophy in the Fall. Had him for Ethics and couldn't have had a better experience. Taught very difficult concepts with ease and understanding. Sensitive to students needs and a most "ethical" man

Dr. Cassidy is an extremely smart man and a very good teacher. I took Medieval Law with him and found it very informative. Expect to take a lot of notes, but nothing on the exams is a surprise, because it's all there.
