Super boring class puts people to sleep. Goes off topic all the time. Extremely Hard tests plus never ending tests questions. No powerpoint notes. He uses overhead in class and expect u to take notes along with his fast pace(lots of graphs). Expects you to READ Book and bring questions.If u don't do ALL these together, you will FAIl. Good Luck!

Financial Statment Analysis. This was the most difficult course I encountered at south alabama. It requires time effort and alot of study, but it can be done. He is very helpful on clarifing issues. oh by the way be prepared for long tests and get a good calculator.

I went in to this class expecting to hate it, but Dr. Filer made it interesting. He was very clear with the subject, and would often times assume he was talking over our heads and then backtrack to put it into simpler terms. I couldn't imagine making an A in this class without him.

This class was boring and tough but he did a good job of explaining things. He is a little too passionate about economics so he likes to get off on subjects he feels strongly about but still helps you to learn. He explains a boring subject in a less than boring manner but the class still sucks. But if you have to take it, take him.
