VERY funny. As far as his teaching goes, he articulates well, but u will often need to reread the class notes he posts on Blackboard. His tests are based off of them; dont buy the book (just use the library's if nec). Phonology (the 2nd unit) is the hardest topic of the class, so take note of that. NOT a blow-off class: but study and u can ace it.

Online Class. Grades justs tests and discussion board ass'n. Responds to any Q's very quickly. Tests are online & easy but timed. The book is cheap. You have to be lazy to not get an A because all you do is read the chapter(s) then post your thoughts and respond to 2 others. Even provides iTunes portions of lectures for some chapters. REALLY GREAT.

Dr. Fitzer is a great teacher. He makes the class interesting and very fun. There's never been a day where I haven't learned AND laughed in class. Fitzer makes the class so that you want to attend every day. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Fitzer is a very good professor. His teaching style is very refined and clear. The material is at times difficult, but he manages to make even the most complex of things simple and easy to understand. He also has a good sense of humor, always keeping the class laughing. I highly recommend him.

I took the online class and it was a cakewalk! As long as you remember to long on every week and complete an easy discussion board assigment- then you will get an A. All of his tests are easy because you can use your notes and the book. Great teacher. He is always willing to help you as well if you need it. He is also very accommodating.

He´s a really nice cool guy. His first two tests are really hard, but then it gets easier. I took his online class. The way I calculated it, I shouldve gotten a C, but for some reason he gave me a B. So, I think he´s the man!
