He is a very hard teacher. He is also very intimidating. He can be helpful if you go up to him and ask him questions 1 on 1. He is very picky but writes out every detail of what he expects in the syllabus. Many people don't think its necessary to go to class, but he does take attendance even if many don't notice. As a Freshman, you're intimidated by him. As a sophmore you hate him. As a junior you start to respect him. As a senior you realize he knew what he was doing the whole time. He seems like a hard teacher, but he's just weeding out the weak.

You spoiled rich kids should quit using your daddies computer to complain. He can buy you a computer but he can't get you an easy business prof. Doing well in Kooyenga's class is indicative of a successful career in business.

He takes the tough prof. approach, but its only because he is weeding out the morons that will not make it in the business world. His approach is genius and so is he. Students complain as an excuse for their laziness.

an embarrassment to the business department- not to mention the College. Suffers from an identity crisis- power trip/superiority issues. Ward and Voorn's teaching par with a Mercedes, Kooyenga's is more like a beat-up pinto.
