Best professor I've had so far. Nicest man on campus with a huge heart. No tests or quizzes just papers and you choose the topic. He cares a lot about his students and I would recommend taking his courses when offered, which is not often.

An amazing professor and overall great guy. My class with him had no tests but a lot of writing with often very broad topics. Class is very discussion based and he is always there for you with whatever you need. I would definitely recommend him!

Lanci's class is by far the best I've taken at Stonehill. He geniunely cares about his students. He expects a lot for your reflection papers, but you can redo them anytime. The class is all discussion run by the class with him acting as a mediator. His class is unlike any other I've taken at Stonehill. If you can take him, do it!

After slaving through Catholic high school,I figured I'd take Religion first semmester and get it out of the way.But JL's class has been by far been my favorite.Grades come from several reflection papers, and while he grades tough, you can re-write any paper, any time for a better grade.Definately take his class if you get the chance.

My favorite professor so far. Easy class, based on class participation in discussions (if you're shy he gives you ways to participate outside of class on homework assignments) A bunch of easy 1 page reflection papers. Not a catholicism course by any means, doesn't push his views. I am not religious and I LOVE this class. TAKE LANCI!

Lanci is an amazing teacher! He challenges you intellectually and is always there to help whenever you need it. VERY smart man. I took his class freshmen year not knowing who he was and enjoyed every minute of it. If you get the chance to take a lanci class..do it! you'll never think of religion in the same way again (no textbook for this class)

I like Prof. Lanci a lot, and enjoyed the class but he always talked about how he wanted us to be creative with our writing but it seemed he only gave good grades to the people who wrote rather, well, "sappy" essays - things that I wouldn't call creative at all. We had different definitions.

Awesome guy, wish i could have taken more of his classes. He def. loves Jesus alot, but in a cool nonjudgmental kindof way. Really interesting conversations every class. Grades are pretty easy, though he'll try to scare you at the beginning of the semester.
