I really liked Professor Morris's class. He was always so enthusiastic about geography and made lectures fun and interesting. The tests were fill in the blank, 5 which made it somewhat difficult, but his grading curve is respectable and I would 100% take him again.

Some people teach because they like to teach, some because they need an income, others because they are board with their lives. Then there are those who were born to teach. Born to inpire dreams. Born to motivate others. Dr. Morris was an amazing man.

Dr. Morris is an amazing guy, he's been all over the world and has plenty of stories to tell. He encourages debates and questions in class to expand on the lecture. His tests are tough, but each question is worth 1-1.5 points, so it's doable. Your grade is only the 3 exams you take and there's no cumulative final. He also gives extra credit.

By far the best teacher I have had,and actively engages the class. Likes to say stuff for shock value. Most interesting person I have ever met. Clear political stances, but encourages discussion and debate nonetheless. Very knowledgeable. Only grades are 3 tests and final. Generous bell curve. SI is helpful. Don't skip class.

Just a great all around professor. I went into his class undeclared and now I'm going to be majoring in geographic information science after talking to him about it. People fail his test, but he gives a slight curve if you show up for class and ten extra credit points for the test if you turn in an essay. Highly, highly recommended.

He is a very informational teacher. He knows his stuff, just test are hard. You must study the powerpoint and go to SI sessions. the test are multiple choice, fill in the blank, matching and maps. You must know capitals, landscape/geography, and countries/states.

Morris is quite opinionated. His powerpoints are generally straight to the point but he can be quite opinionated at times, especially in regards to urbanization. Sometimes he gets off topic and goes off on a tangent about himself or how he views the world but doesn't explain it in detail. He doesn't always give factual explanations for his opinions

Worst class I have ever taken. Needed this class just for an elective and ended up with a low D. Test are FILL IN THE BLANK. Be ready to be frustrated with him. I would personally not recommend. Throws so much information at you that it's hard to take everything down. He acts like this is the only class you are taking.

Professor Morris is one the most interesting men I have ever met in my life. He makes the class super interesting. Test are fairly easy just memorize the stuff he goes over in class. He always gives 10-12 point extra credit assignments, all you have to do is do them. He gives you like 3 weeks so its very easy to make a A in his class

Excellent professor! Very knowledgeable, well-traveled, & enthusiastic about subject. Provides PP for ALL classes (print & use them to take notes). Third class I've taken w/ Dr. Morris, all were excellent. Tests are hard but he gives nice curve. GRG 3213 & 3713 required research papers, but subject is your choice. Highly recommend any class w/ him.

very funny professor, but made the material very unclear. Was not sure what to study when it came time to test. Never gave out an exam review or outline to help us prepare for exams. constantly went back and forth on the chapters in the book. SI was way more helpful as she guided us on what we needed to study.
