Comment:

The absolute best prof. ever! Even if you don't get math he helps as much as possible and gives you the answers to the tests during the lectures. Gives out review sheets that are super easy to work with and even gives you the answers to the harder ones. He is very helpful and even gives out his cell number if you need him. I totally recommend!!

Prof Rayko is by far the best professor I have ever taken here at UTSA. He explains everything so well with extra points available on midterms with the exception that attendance is mandatory. He hands out old tests from previous semesters as reviews with minor changes. Always willing to help during office hrs. I RECOMMEND YOU TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!

I took him for Pre-Cal and he is a very helpful prof. Gives plenty of extra credit, attendence is mandatory for a 20 pt extra credit paper. Tests are exactly as his examples and he even gives u a review for tests and final. Take him :)

Rayko is a great prof. I'm not the best at math but with the help of a tutor and having Rayko as a teacher I got A in Cal 1. Show up (even though lectures are tedious) so that you can get 20 points extra credit added to your lowest exam grade, take all your quizzes (the lowest three are dropped) and you'll do great.

Definitely take him! He is the best pre cal teacher out there. I am taking him at 8 in the morning three days a week for cal 1 because he is just that great. Lots of extra credit but you have to come class. He tries to make it fun. He's a funny old man. Do the homework, take notes, don't need the book, Tests are review sheet.

He's AWESOME! Seriously Professor Rayko is probably one of the best pre-cal professors out there. He explains everything so clearly and is a super easy A as long as you do the hwks and the review for his test. Only thing is that there is mandatory attendance, but it's not too big of a deal. major extra credit points at the end! GREAT TEACHER! :)

Awesome Teacher! He is the true defintion of a teacher who teaches. He goes over everything in such detail. Very smart teacher. Very good with people. Really cares about his students learning and ultimately passing. Makes it as easy as possible for you to learn and pass the class. He really gives you the opportunity to learn a lot about math.

Rayko is seriously the best math teacher/professor I've ever taken. His class is extremely easy! Gives good reviews before the test, and is happy to explain any concepts you don't get. Only drawback is he takes attendance but offers an extra credit incentive so not so bad. Overall, if you need to take calculus at all, take him!

Rayko is such an awesome professor, and a really sweet guy. He really cares about his students and he makes the material very clear/easy to follow. The class is really boring though, and incredibly easy, I never went and still made an A. Then again, I had him at 7:30 AM...don't take him in the morning he'll put you back to sleep. Great prof though!

Prof Rayko's class was pretty easy. He uses MyMathlab which can really help your grade. He makes math really easy. His tests aren't too bad either. Make sure you DO THE REVIEW. It will help. I plan to take him for Calculus too. Definitely recommend.

Prof. Rayko is a great teacher. I'm serious when I say this. Do your homework for the quizzes. He drops 3 lowest. He gives reviews that are exactly like the tests. Gives you bonus points. and 20 pts Extra credit...Nice... His handwriting could be a little neater though. It's so ugly sometimes. take him for a nice 'A'.

Awesome professor! Take him if you can. I've taken him for MAT 1073 and 1093. Will take him again for Calculus 1. Mymathlab used so you'll make 100s on homework. Extra credit is a savior!! I highly advise taking him as he gives really good notes!

Let me put it this way, I've always been horrible with math, took two remedial classes because I sucked! anyways I'm currently taking 1093 with Rayko and I'm getting an A, for those who are bad with math, take it with him, he's extremely helpful and tests are super easy, (plus bonus questions), and no need for a book, what else would you want :)

Dr Rayko is great. I had him for college algebra up to CalcI. He's very organized and clear. He will help you out - no problem. Just take notes and do the Homework and you'll do great. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone taking math, whether you're good at it or not.

Prof. Rayko is such a nice person. He's very easy to go to for help, and very patient. His classes can be a little boring (okay... a lot boring), but he genuinely cares you if pass or not. His tests are very easy if you study and, while he does give out homework, it's pretty easy too.

He is pretty nice and his tests are super easy. If you study before the test you will be fine. I have yet to get a B in that class. Sometimes he pushes the hw back. Do the study guide and homework and your chances for an A will be high.
