So after not having math for a while I get to college and this is what I have to deal with. Extremely unclear, yeah he's probably real smart but it just didn't work for me. The material wasn't hard he just went way to fast assuming we all know how to do everything.

Alright I know it was very basic math and to be honest math isn't my best subject but seriously this guy was extremely difficult. He offers help if you need it. He can be kind of rude expecting everybody to know the material. Homework's not mandatory and neither is attendance but you need both in order to keep up. I would try to get someone else.

Grades extremely hard. If you are good at math and can easily teach yourself I would definitely say to take him. Only 4 tests and homework is optional. I never did homework and went to class when I felt like it and passed with an A. If you are good at math it is an easy course!

im very good at math and he made math 100 hard for me. he gives homework but he doesn't give credit for it. all he gives is test and no extra credit to bring your grade up. he takes ALOT of points off if you make one little mistake. in order to pass this class, you have to pass the test. HE IS THE WORSE

Professor Steelman is one of the harder instructors i've had but he is also one of the best. He wants you to figure out things for yourself and this will help you in the long run. He is weird and teaches fast but he will help if you ask and doing the homework will help on tests. Study problems from homeworks and you'll be fine. Curves all tests

I honestly couldn't say worst things about Steelman. He doesn't care about you or your learning at all. He failed at least 3/4 of the kids in my class. Run as fast as you can and get out of this class. I failed and he completely screwed me over.

Hard to understand his teaching style, but if you do your homework you'll be fine for the tests. Pretty much your entire grade is test's, so if your a slacker, do not take this class. I'm obviously not a genius because I am in Math 100, but I could manage the class.

he is such a hard professor! he teaches things that aren't on the test and leaves out things that are. If you dont do the problem 100% correctly (and show all work) he will mark it wrong! The only grades are tests and he makes the tests as hard as can be. Save your selves and dont i mean DO NOT take this class. You will fail

Honestly, he's terrible. i failed the class. The first half i kinda slacked, but even when i tried toward the second half i still got Ds and Fs on the test. He assumes his students know everything and goes through things way too fast. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!! You will fail!

This is the worst class I have. The math covered is not very difficult but the tests are. The only grades are from tests and a final. Answers on tests must be 100% correct and concrete if you want credit. If you are solving a problem and misplace a minus sign, yet still get the correct solution, you will get the whole problem wrong (-8 to -10pts)
