Really easy class. Don't buy the book, I never used it and still got an A. You take a test every week at the end of class. Just study for it during class. He may come off as rude, but teaching 300 freshmen about stuff you already know a lot about can't be too exciting. Take if you want an easy A and only meet once a week.

weis isn't a good professor really, i mean i got an A in the course, but he asseumes that you already know so much about MCOMM already...which we dont. Quizzes every week, study the powerpoints and you will do fine, dont buy the book cause you dont need it. If your looking for a class with a little bit of studying but not all that bad, this is it.

Great professor. You may have had him for MCOM 100, but don't be deceived--he does, in fact, expect a lot from his upperclassmen students which is great because he WILL prepare you for the real world. Don't confuse his comments with rudeness... he wants his students to succeed... at least the ones with common sense. It's a shame he's leaving soon.

Pretty easy lecture class. There is a quiz every week but you take it at the end so you can study for the quiz during class. The quizzes are pretty easy and are all true and false. He takes cheating pretty seriously. Overall an easy class.

Don't Buy the Text Book you do not NEED it!! and He can be Very Rude at times, (Almost seems as if he hates students and younger people in general), which is kind of weird since Mass Communication is such a progressive field that adapts to newer generations.

It sucks that this class is mandatory especially because it is a night class. Quizzes are always at the end of class but DONT BUY THE BOOOK!!!!! print off his slideshows and review them before the quiz while he talks about next weeks quiz information. EVERYTHING IS ON THE POWERPOINTS!

If you can get past the fact that he's ridiculously opinionated, makes bold claims with no evidence to back them up and treats college kids like they're in elementary school, it's a pretty easy class. Don't buy the book and study the Powerpoints (which are posted on D2L); you'll be fine.

The class is extremely boaring, cant sit next to anyone or use computers. DO NOT PURCHASE BOOK, i did & havent opened it out of shrink wrap. Easy A or B if you have other classes your worried about. Just review power points and you will do great!

Super easy class!! Never any homework, he posts the powerpoints on D2L and all you have to do is read them and then take a true-false quiz on it. He WILL tell you to buy the book, but DON'T, you will NEVER use it! I bought it and didn't even take it out of the plastic wrap, waste of money. Boring class, can't use laptops, but bring Cosmo or an Ipod

Weis is one of the best profs at WSU. He has a prickly personality but once you get beyond that he is a phenomenal prof. People confuse his unwillingness to accept lazy work with him being a jerk. If you get a chance to take a class with him, DO IT! He will prepare you for the real world better than anyone else.

He's already retired, but just teaches for fun. Only, his TA does everything. DON'T BUY THE BOOK. It's super easy. There's a weekly quiz--it's a night class--that's extremely easy. You can only miss one class though.

Yes, he seems lazy, but I think he deserves more credit than he gets. This class is VERY easy and the only quizzes are true and false. DON'T BUY THE BOOK. Everything you need to know are off of his slide shows. You almost always get out of class an hour early, which is nice. Lectures can be long, but just do homework or study during lecture.

don't buy the text book (you'll never use it). there's a test every week on the topic from the week before. he posts the power points on d2l. easiest thing to do is print out the power points and study for the test during lecture. he's boring and acts like he hates our generation. but its an easy class; i got a B without trying.
