My favorite professor. His tests are hard, as they should be. But he is great at making the class interesting and funny. Going to class shouldn't be difficult because he makes them so fun. Very approachable and helpful. Best professor ever! Had about 4 classes with him. Abnormal, Psych and the Law, Forensic Psych, and History&Systems. Take 'em all!

Dr. Miene is very interesting and very easy to understand. He has some easy in-class activities which can help boost your grade, but most of the points come from tests. Go to class, take good notes, and textbook reading is a must. If you do all that, you will not be disappointed with his class!

I have had him for 3 classes now, 4th will be next semester. He's a great professor and really knows what he's talking about. The tests ARE hard, but go to class and take notes. You do say things like him even after the class, I know I still am. But overall, definite recommendation!

Great professor, definitely recommend taking him for anything. The tests are hard, but go to class, take notes and you'll do fine. I find myself still saying things the way he does, and you'll understand if you take him. Great professor, nice guy, definite recommend.

I LOVE Peter Miene! I took 3 or 4 of his classes and they were all awesome. I am in graduate school now and I miss him. I can still picture him physically explaining psych concepts, and thats why they still make sense to me. He is a dorky bean pole, but absolutely adorable! I also enjoyed his obsession with World Cup soccer.

he's clear, he tells you what he wants, and usually, his first test is worth less points so you know what to expect from him for the rest. he's easy to talk to, and he actually tries to help! he's a bit lenient, and he can bend to student needs, when plausable. he's just great overall!

I LOVED THIS CLASS! Prof. Miene is a very intelligent and fun professor. This isn't the easiest class, you do have to DO the work and he even offers extra credit. I remember a lot of what I learned from him, because he makes it interesting. If you take psych --- TAKE MIENE!

Miene is an absolutely phenomenal professor! The class isn't a walk in the park, but like any class you will do fine if you go to class and read your readings. He manages to make a relatively boring class very interesting. He's also absolutely hilarious, and he has lots of funny stories.
