She gives a ton of homework (most people thought it was too much) and she isn't very generous with partial credit. It was a hard class but I feel like I came out knowing how to solve diffeq's pretty well.

Great Teacher. The best math teacher I've ever had. Awesome professor and very passionate, when it comes to math. The key to passing any Math class is to do your homework. Most people giving her bad reviews failed to do homework. If you fail to do homework problems, you wont discover your weakness and strength. Overall perfect professor.

Awesome professor and very passionate, when it comes to math! But you must study and ask questions if you don't understand the material. In addition, do all your homework. Homework helps a lot with memorization. Don't be lazy at all. Prepare yourself.

Online Geometry course. I wish it was offered as an in-class course. Shes a nice person & seems like an excellent teacher but your pretty much left on your own with it being online. If you E-mail her for help she'll respond. The midterm & final are hard. You can't just do the quizzes & expect to pass. You must keep up & study. Overall not bad.

Cotten is one of the best at WCC. She expects you to work. It's calculus, it's not supposed to be an easy grade. Do homework and you will pass her class with a good grade. She has a no bull policy which gives her a bad rep. but it is only from the perspective of lazy kids who don't understand the concept of earning they're keep.

I took Prof. Cotten's online geometry class and it was the easiest class I'd ever taken. There are weekly homework assignments and quizzes but sometimes she even allows multiple attempts on quizzes. She was really generous.

A professor who is absolutely passionate about mathematics. She has a great sense of humor and cares about every one of her students. The packets she hands out during class may appear daunting, but she does a great job explaining the material thoroughly. It is the responsibility of the student to complete all homework assignments and she answers any homework questions during class. She is a challenging professor, but because of this you learn so much more and gain a greater interest in math.

ok look. I am going to be straight up. She is a great teacher.She helps you understand all you have to do is practice! Her blackboard videos are very helpful!In grading she is fair. NOT a Hard or easy grader just FAIR. Shes is underrated in this. The quizzes are easy! there are from the HW!the kids who complain are lazy. overall shes good :)

Horrible teacher. All she would do is hand you a packet every class and barely go over it. If you failed any test throughout the semester, you failed the class... which is what she did to me...on the last test of the semester... Do not sign up for this teacher if you want to keep a good GPA

Detailed lecture handouts, daily quiz straight from the hw, group quiz, test broken down to practically the number of questions from each section (easy to prep for). Exams are challenging, as they should be (NOT DIFFICULT, challenging). Easy A if you work for it. Easy C if your lazy. You gotta be kidding me if you fail.

I took professor cotten for calc 2, absolutely loved her. my classmates nd friends will say otherwise, they feel she chooses favorites, nd is a hard grader. I on the other hand am a math major nd find that if you are a hard worker and do what you supposed to when your supposed to, you'll ride out of the class with an A.

I though she was amazing. She was extremely clear with concepts and was allways willing to help and ask question. She was very strict about attendance and lateness. As with most classes, if you show up and do the work and ask questions when you're confused, you will do great in her class.
