He's a very awesome professor, and makes the lecture very interesting. Although the attendance is not mandatory, attending in lecture would help you understand the material much better, his notes are very organized and clear.

Awkward funny, lectures are engaging, but he gets to the point. He is super organized and structured, and is available for help should you need it. Interesting and enjoyable, assignments are very fair. Go to class and you will never need to read a book.

Comment:
Miller is the sweetest man, he is so well-intended and nice. I found the material to get a bit redundant at times and sometimes lectures were boring due to overhead style. Lots of class discussion, sometimes useful, but student can be full of it often. I didn't like the marking assessment so much, but it was easier than many phil styles

A lot of note taking, but he also talks while he makes you right the extensive notes so you have to choose to either listen to him or write the notes. He also just quotes authors and expects you to just understand them. A bit less not taking and more explanation would help this class

Great all-around professor. As organized as anyone out there.... best thing about him is that he teaches at a very good pace... he doesn't feel the need to cover tons of material just for the sake of covering it... he covers less material but in more detail. Overall, a great proff who tells it like it is... Great guy as well

If you are satisfied with a 70 b/c you simply want to graduate then don't bother to read further. If you wish to apply to a professional school and work hard for good grades, refrain from taking any of his classes, for he will butcher all your work.
