Comment:

He's an awesome teacher and a hilarious guy. He really does make French fun - he makes crazy jokes that you might not get at first, but then you realize that he's hilarious. He also makes funny analogies to French and makes it interesting. Not 100% in French, but he helps you out and you really feel like you learn. Try to take it with him!

Mr Breines is a good teacher and a good guy. He keeps you laughing with his outlandish antics all the while teaching you a lot about the French language. He makes learning French fun again and if you can, I would suggest taking him as a professor.

easy and straightforward, pretty much a review of lf 211..Tests and quizzes were pretty easy except for the L'etranger parts but that was because i never did the readings....minimal effort should get you at least a B+...doesn't take attendance which is also a plus

Mr. Breines is a really nice guy and a good professor as well. He likes to go off on tangents in class, but he always ties them back into the theme of whatever he's teaching. He's very funny and does a good job at keeping your attention. If you take French, he's definitely a professor that you will enjoy.

Too easy for his students' good, but still a great teacher. Very interesting class. Breines is the classic overworked adjunct, and it shows, but he handles it with what grace he can, and seems truly to love teaching.
