Comment:

My favorite professor of the semester. Wish he taught classes in my major! I learned so much from his class and was constantly telling other people about it. He's passionate about nutrition, invested in his students' learning, and gives fun, interesting lectures. Very approachable and responsive to emails. There is a group project at the end.

The class was not hard, do the assignment and show up to class and you get an A. I did not have a difficult time and he is not a hard grader. He is very understanding and his lectures are not boring. I would take his class if I could.

This is an easy class. English is my second language and this was an easy A. there is a lot of assignments but they are easy. He is a very easy grader. The tests are online and the answers are online. There is a group project at the end of the semester. the class was fun and I learned interesting facts in this class. He also offers extra credit.

Didn't think I would do a 3 hour long lecture from 5-8 pm but he makes it fun. Lectures are never boring and he picks on people for having junk food but its all for fun lol. His assignments are all due within 1-2 weeks so don't slack. His tests are easy and its all online since we only meet once a week. Participate for activities in class!

This class is super easy, open notes/book online exams. Two online quizzes open notes/book. Easy papers based on each unit. One group project which was super fun/easy because everyone presents at the same time. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Don't buy the book because powerpoints come from the book.

This guy is awesome! I had moderate interest in nutrition before this, but he literally helped me turn around the way I eat in an easy way that brought down my cholesterol and inspired me to help others. He does open-book online tests with 2-3 short writing assignments per unit. Awesome textbook, clear on grading, so helpful! Take this guy!

Very knowledgeable. Tendency to ramble, but its relevant. Approachable and responds to email. Assignments weren't difficult; included online discussion posts, self-selected mini-assignments, and a nutrition project. Powerpoints based on textbook.

I did not really learn anything from his class. He seems like a nice when you ask him questions, but is condescending about his knowledge and is a bit inconsistent with grading or the content of the class. He also tends to push his agenda and opinions; flips thru powerpoints. Exams seem to be his opinion-just agree with what he says in class.

Excellent teacher who uses relevant articles tying nutritional subject matter to current nutritional topics. Gives exam Qs hints in class so be sure to attend class & pay attention. Though gives quite a bit of papers to write, they are interesting and challenges students to apply knowledge. Exams: Answer 12 out of 15MCQs & 2 essays out of 3/4.

ABSN extended learning instructor. Working professional with a unique grading system - Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3 (each 100 points) & participation/attendance (15). Also gives extra credit 10 points. His tests are not easy - he designs them to make you think, which is a good thing. If you do not do well on his tests there are many opportunities to bring up your grade. He is also helpful if you ask him anything. Not the most exciting class but he does what he can to make biology interesting!

The class is so boring. He is all right. He is not a hard greater. I like him as a person. I actually was hoping that the class would be more interestig.. :( He's a good person and professor. When it comes to testing, his outlines (study guides) are pretty much everything, so they are not that helpful.

The greatest teacher ever. I was able to pass with an A in spite of not doing goog in the quizes, but he gave me lots of extra credit for extra research I did for the class. I learned more doing research than how many bones I have in my ear. If you need a physiology class take Prof. Long, the best!
