He was absolutely terrible! US history should be interesting... this professor fails in what should be easy. Completely skips important facets of US history and then test them beyond the scope of the textbook. Tests are hard and you never know what will be on it. DON'T TAKE, especially for a summer class!

he's not a bad guy, when I went to him for help he always offered help, unfortunately the quizzes were so difficult that many in the class had grades in the 50s-70s. The MC questions are worded very oddly. Not a bad guy, but tough grades

very smart. one of the most knowledgeable teachers i have had class with. i didnt take any notes, but listened. i read before quizzes, average a 91 on them (7, drop 2). if you dont pick up stuff easily, class will be difficult.

Casino is a good teacher. the key to doing well is going to class, taking good notes, asking questions, and at least looking over the chapters in the book. He is not that hard his quizes are not that hard. You need to study and then look the material over before the test. take him he is worth it.

The quizzes are really hard... even if you read the chapter you won't do well. Most people in my class failed all the quizes and the midterm. Short papers that are easy to do, but hes a hard grader. I wouldnt take him again, ever.

Quizzes and exams are ridiculous. You can study all you want, but in the end you are either going to pass or fail, but more than likely fail. The goal is to do well on his book reports. Very boring class, but he takes attendance. Does not give a participation grade, but make sure to take good notes while he is lecturing.

Casino is a great teacher and his class is good if you do the readings and pay attention. There are only two papers and a few pop quizzes that he basically tells you about 2 weeks beforehand. EVERYTHING is multiple choice including midterm and final. I'm taking him again next semester, he's so knowledgeable about history, its amazing...

Casino can stand in front of the class with no book and tell you every minute detail about everything you have read. He lectures for 50 minutes straight, and he has an extremely dry sense of humor. His tests/quizzes are difficult and there are two "book reports" for the class that are also difficult to do well on. I would never take him again.

Do not take him. He rambles on and on about nothing that you have studies. Will insult you if you ask for help and stated that most students should expect to fail his first test. Since I took him in a summer class, he said if I would have taken his class in the normal semester I would need more then the St. Joes library to pass.
