Very nice teacher, lectures are long but there is no other way to teach the class. Walks the class through some of the labs. Will lead you to the right answer without just giving it to you.

He is a very condesending teacher. When asked a question about anything he will roll his eyes or get angry at you. Students in my section have taken to google or each other to get help on homework or material. He lectures by reading power points for a couple hours. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. He does give some extra credit though.

Ah the first day of deer hunting season. The only day of the year you can actually hear the crack of dawn. That's actually one of his better jokes. If you take his class to learn comedy, dont. Anything thing computer or computer networking, sit down and pay attention. Outstanding teacher. Highly recommended

Great teacher. Has more experience in the computer field than anyone else I know. Covers textbook and more. He has a comprehensive knowledge over his subjects he teaches. Teaches the textbook plus.

Joe is a great guy and tries hard to make the concepts as easy to understand as possible. He will work with you if you require further instruction and cares about your grades if you do! The lectures are less than exciting, but then again, how exciting can PowerPoint, Word or Excel be?

Boring Boring Boring. Probably the smartest IT teacher at LCC but he has an awful way of teaching material. Tells us useless information before class for 10 min and the same thing after class. TERRIBLE at sticking to schedule. Oh and he's also NEVER wrong, so don't argue anything with him.

Mr. Werner is a great programmer trying to teach. He does a somewhat adequate job, but he fails in a few areas. Mainly the most frustrating aspect was not getting my homework graded...i.e., I had to wait 2 months to get my grade on my homework assignment #2. Another area that he was weak in was he hardly ever related the lecture to the homework.

This is a very easy class and the teacher is willing to help you with any problems as long as you let him know. Every one has flaws but as a teacher i would highly recommend this teacher to anyone who doesnt know very much about computers. He will go out of his way to help as long as you ask.

Very boring prof. Easy class if you have ANY knowledge of office applications. exams are open book and all you need to do is skim through the chapters to do well on them. however he is lazy and boring. hasn't graded an assignment in weeks. keeps you after class to tell dumb jokes and starts class late

nice guy, very knowledgeable and has a wicked sense of humor. He does have his quirks, like keeping you after class to wish you a "Happy Arbor Day" or whatever rarely talked about holiday it was, and going off on the occasional rant, but still a recommended prof.

Teacher is the biggest nerd ever, is only book smart. If you have any experience working on anything, he won't be able to help you much. Teaches from the book, reads slide shows to you, starts class late because of dumb jokes, makes you stay after class to listen to more dumb jokes. This is a perfect class if you are a nerd with no friends.

This class is not that difficult, but Joe makes it even easier with his teaching style, sense of humor, and down to earth attitude. If you fail this class don't blame the instructor blame yourself, if you did not ask for help. He's more than able and more than willing to give the extra instruction.

I took Joe Werner 5 times. That's right. 5. I really enjoy the way he bring the information accross. Makes it easy to understand and helps you with the process of understanding. Allows you to get your word accross and has the tendency to crack a joke or two. Very professional guy. All classes well organized. Top class Instructor. A++++
