Never gives quizzes. Grade is 3 test one final, 2 "papers" that everyone gets 100 and if not you can redo them, 4 concerts, and online dissusion that is very easy and give most a 95+. With all the b.s. being worth 50% of your grade its easy to get a very high grade. Test on very easy stuff about the artist. I would take him agian!

He's definitely a cutie. Class is easy just a bit boring sometimes. Takes attendance randomly. I was so not interested in jazz but the class isn't that hard as long as you follow his instructions. 3 tests, a lot of listening, and 4 outside jazz performance which suck but there any easy grade.

I didnt know anything about history of jazz before i took his class; musically challenged and i still got an A. Not hard, but MUST GO TO CLASS never lets out early. 60% of grade is from in class quizes, all three exams and a concert review is 10% of grade
