Read the syllabus, it says she does not turn it late work. The test are all online as well and open note. If your receive anything below an A you should probably rethink what about getting an job that doesn't require a college degree. This course makes you question your beliefs but in reality is helpful. Even though it was online I learned a lot.

Very easy class took it online. Everything was straight forward and always was up to date when it came to emails. Worst part about this class was that each test was open for 24 hours so you would have to know how to work it out. Great class though, learned a lot

I took this class online and it was a piece of cake! She lays out exactly what you need to do in order to receive full credit. However, she is terrible at returning emails and she does not post grades quickly. I would recommend the online class!

I just finished PHL 111 online with this professor and I have nothing negative to say about Prof. Murphy. Just follow her directions and you will do great in her class. She quickly responds to emails, she just don't want excuses about why something did not get done on time. Just do what she says and turn work in at times that she specifies!!!!!!!

The comments suggest that in-person is a breeze and the online class is a pain. Im in her online class and it is indeed, a pain in the butt. She gives out 75% more work than any other teacher and my first essay which consisted of 1243 words was sent back at 9:30pm and had to be redone by noon the following day. Major pain INDEED.

Worst teacher! looses work/ you get 0! ignores your emails/meeting request, never comments on assignments/grades based on essay structure not on content/so she doesnt have to read them.trick muti-choice test. she is never wrong n also works in academic advising givin bad advise, Tells u anything except answer 2ur questions. trys 2 confuse u!DONT!!!

This teacher really bugged me. Yes you have to turn things in on time but she shows no kind of leeway whatsoever. Some teachers are a bit more compassionate when it comes to turning in work but she will NOT budge. I turned in an assignment at midnight on the dot and it was "late". Got a 0/50. Dont' take this professor.

Dont know why people are saying this class is easy or that this professor is any good, because she is honestly horrible at grading along with getting back to your emails and communicating in general. Her Syllabus has changed from last years to this year and it is now impossible. Never have her as a professor you will 100% FAIL!!!!

Worst teacher I have ever had here! Not understanding at all, lost my work and I was punished for it, late responses to emails, RUDE. Lost 150 points for work that she just "didn't get" I will never take another one of her classes again!!!!!

I read some of the comments of Prof Murphy before I took her class and found out for myself that she is great! She doesn't try to overwhelm you with concepts and theories that can't be understood. She says she wants us to be able to use philosophy and to understand it's "common sense."

The class is really easy but she does not have very good bedside manner. She sent me a rather condescending e-mail to tell me about a typo on one of my essays. She's also completely useless when trying to e-mail her. Her responses to your questions take forever & make little sense almost like she didn't take the time to process what you were asking

I took this class online and i have to say this is one of the easiest classes if you follow the syllabus and do all of the mandatory work. She is very slow at getting back to you by email and takes FOREVER to grade things, but other than that, she's an awesome person.
