Very good professor. Lectures can get a little boring at times, but if you enjoy history, you'll appreciate the class. Professor Brink, is a well experienced, well spoken, teacher who is not "out to get you." No need to buy the book because all notes, power points, and tests are online.

Super easy class, but so boring to attend lecture, my advice don't go. She doesn't take attendance, must buy the handouts packet, gives you all the notes but she puts lectures online a well as all quizzes etc, do the worksheets and study guides so easy, she's really boring to listen to but if you have Qs she'll help

This class was a very easy class. All tests and quizzes are online. Lecture is also optional; she posts all of her lectures and videos online. I would recommend going to class though, it definitely helps! Dr. Brink knows a lot about this subject and does her best to make the class as interesting as possible. Take this class!

I THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS A VERY NICE PROFESSOR. CLASS WASN'T BAD AT ALL. A LITTLE WACKY (IN A GOOD WAY). BUT, AREN'T WE ALL OCCASIONALLY! DURING PRESENTATIONS, SHE WILL NAB YOU IF YOU AREN'T IN PROFESSIONAL-LIKE CLOTHING OR IF YOU SWAY WHILE LECTURING THE CLASS. BUT, I THINK THAT SHE IS A WONDERFUL LADY!!!

She's a great teacher, funny, "colorful,"..really knows her stuff. I wish she'd do something a little different sometimes rather than just power points. We do have video clips every once in a while. Her article readings & article quizzes aren't difficult by any means. the chapter tests are a little tricky. take good notes&tab important pages

Do work at home and you'll get an A, the quizzes and tests are gimme points. I got a 98 and just went to class, paid attention, and did 30 min a night. Great teacher who really knows her stuff and has great stories about egypt and her travels. I would take her again

Judy Brink is wonderfully eccentric and strange. It's fun to listen to her talk about her participant observation in Egypt and Mexico. The class is pretty simple. I recommend taking it.

The exams are easy (a lot of multiple choice, with three obviously wrong choices). There are weekly quizzes you do at home after reading a short article and filling out a review sheet. All the questions on the review sheets are on the quiz. Don't bother buying the text books, she doesn't teach from them or assign reading (and they cost $80).

This lady is very nice but pretty nuts. The class itself is very easy but what makes it hard is that itsso boring. Her methods of teaching are usually just watching movies and looking at pictures. All the tests/quizzes are online. Quizzes are easy as pie. Tests are a bit harder. The hardest part about this class was forcing myself to go to it.
