Honestly, this class isn't necessarily too hard, but if you have a consistent study habit and go to the office hrs for her BE papers, then you will be on track. I ADVISE you to record her lectures because she lectures fast and she does not post her lectures. She grades really hard on BE papers and only gives 2 chances to rewrite.

This class was the easiest that I've taken in all of college. It's all memorization. Exactly what she lectures is on the test, no tricks. I studied the night before for all tesst and got A's on all of them. She is very stubborn, and she is not afraid to tell you that you're wrong, but I didn't really mind that much. You have to participate to pass.

Take good, copious notes and go over them before the test. Follow the BE paper instructions to a tee and you will receive a passing grade. Her lectures are great, you just HAVE to attend.

You can definitely get an A in this class if you study and REVIEW her notes. She also gives great examples of key terms, so make sure you also jot down some of the things she says. BE papers are not that bad. You can pass BE papers if you follow the examples that are posted online and listen to her detailed explanations of the concepts.

Dr. Quon is a great professor! The only difficult thing about this class is that when it comes to her two papers, the grading criteria is extremely specific. However, she's great at getting her information across and as long as you work hard you'll be fine. There are 6 exams and 1 final with extra credit on some. For her exams, STUDY THE LECTURES.

She is tough when it comes to grading a B.E paper and the tests are hard if you do not study. The questions are not just straight forward either it seems like word problems and you are suppose to figure out what method can be used or what disorder is shown etc. Honestly this class is a hassle if you're just doing it for a GE.

DO NOT take this course for GE. Still in the class, but the more I proceed, the more I want to withdraw. As a student who suffers with anxiety, I absolutely hate class discussions. even if you get the courage to participate, she will point out everything wrong in your answer because it isn't exactly how she believes is right.

Judy is one of the most frustrating professors I have taken. You are required to participate in class discussions for points, but after you give your answer, she WILL roast you and find every little detail wrong in your answer. If you don't use her definitions for terms, she will interrupt you and move on. She is very rude and refuses to be wrong.

Wants good exact answers. Not a lot of assignments to get your grades up and she does one day discussion and next day discussion but you have to actually participate to get points and if you dont you wont pass and you have to do hw to paricipate. She goes very fast and doesnt let you take pictures of slides. Very difficult for me, dont recommen

there are discussions where you have to speak in order to receive points - very annoying, she wants a specific answer and moves on from you quickly if you don't have what she's looking for. discussion days are a big pain but lecture days consist of her lecturing the whole class period and tests are based off of lectures and discussions

Judy is a fantastic professor and person, all around. Her lectures can drag on and you'll need to learn to take notes fast, but she makes them interesting by applying real life examples and humor. She's a fair grader, and her tests are very straightforward. She sang for us at one point too, so there's that.

Professor Quon is great! Even though attendance is not mandatory, if you want to pass, you need to go. She does not put the lecture slides online so it is your responsibility to go to class everyday to get the information you need. You take a total of 6 exams, and one final. There are 2 papers due, and one in class experiment.

She's very picky with the BE papers. Be ready for tests she often tricks on tests using the A or B choice or A,B,C.

If you're taking this class as an easy GE requirement, don't. She is nit picky to the point that it is ridiculous. I understand this is a critical thinking class, but if your answer isn't exactly what she thinks is right, you're completely wrong. The tests aren't hard, but there's not a lot of points in the class to boost your grade.

Dr. Quon is hilarious, she never failed to make the class laugh! She made it fairly easy to understand the concepts of psychology by providing many real life examples. The exams are all based off the lecture notes, so attendance is mandatory in order to recieve a passing grade since she doesn't post the slides online. She made pyschology enjoyable!

everything is all lecture, her exams are based on the lectures so pay attention, take good notes or study someone else's notes who went to class. she has exams spread out the semester so its less material. she doesn't drop the lowest grade anymore. behavioral explanation paper is simple but people overthink it- just go to pscc lab for help.

She used many real life situations to make connections to the info we were learning, however she always went over things so quickly I felt like I was trying to write everything down instead of listening to her. Her exams are all application based and if you study your notes you should do fine. It's alot of info, but the material is pretty easy.

She gives her own personal stories to help you remember the concepts. there is no homework and there is a test every two weeks so show up to class for the lectures. you don't use the book everything on the test is based on the lectures. overall if you study your notes it's an easy A. she is great!
