I took Patty Smith for BSC1020. We had to get a $3 booklet for her class and it was mostly fill in the blank. We had some group work in the class. Over all it was not a hard class to take. I wish I could take her for BSC1010C.

I can honestly say that she was one of my favorite professors this semester. She's lenient about attendance and gives you all the notes you need to know for the test. Not only does she know what she's talking about, but she was hilarious as well. I would recommend anyone to take her class!

Such an awesome professor! She is extremely laid back and understands that Biology is a lot of times not anyone's favorite class. Her notes are basically fill in the blank. 2 projects (super easy), 7 tests (a lot of take home or partner tests), and the final. I definitely recommend taking her!

Best professor I ever had! She is dorky and weird. If you make friends with her she will help you through all of your other biology classes. As long as you pay attention and study you will pass the tests.

Very good professor, you can tell she is passionate about what she is teaching. Tests can be a little challenging at times. Multiple choice in this class does not make test easier! 2 field trips. Study notes and go to class. She really is a nice down to earth lady. I will be taking another course by her.

HARDEST CLASS EVER TAKEN!! She not only told us she didn't care but she cursed and said she gave very difficult tests on purpose. If there weren't two professors teaching this course I would have picked another.

She made class really interesting with lots of videos. Notes are provided on Atlas. She's dorky and funny and laughs at her own jokes which is pretty entertaining. Study! Weekly worksheets in groups. (mandatory) Hopefully you get a group that pulls their own weight, unlike myself. It actually ended up hurting my grade. Can use notes on Final!

Amazing professor!! She truly cares for her students! She is not for lazy slacker students that are looking for everything to be given to them. She gives outlines but look and read the books pictures. Grades are based on 7 tests, 2 research projects, and plenty of extra credit. Sometimes you get to take home your tests or work with a partner.
