I was Sister Judy's student almost 30 years ago, at WCC. She was an amazing woman, then, and it sounds like she still is. She was kind and caring, but could be firm and honest when necessary even though she would be honest with a loving gentleness that wouldn't leave you feeling discouraged. Her tests were challenging. She has a nurses's heart.

Yes, yes, I'm sure she's very nice. But her class is an enormous time-suck of worthless information, and her lame attempts to prescribe for us what we should think and what we should feel. Her "labs" are nothing but busy-work with no redeeming value. Unless you have the IQ of a doughnut.

umm this class was an insult to my intelligence, literally, it's way too time consuming to complete unnecessary community service, etc. Sister Judy is a one of a kind and love-able woman and i mean no insult to her, but as far as the nursing curriculum goes, wut were they thinking!?

Very Very nice lady! She is very funny and a good teacher. Always has stories to relate to the topic. You really have to read the question to get the answer right. She is not trying to trick you, you just have to pay attention. I would take her again if I had the choice!

Sister Judy is wonderful. She cares so much about her students. Some may think it's a "blow-off" class, as it is an easier Nursing class, but her test are NOT easy, they are very tricky. Her lectures are a little slow, but they are very informative.

Sister VanderVeen is a treasure; an extremely inspirational person. You will know what it IS and means to be a nurse as you get to know her. 90% of the exams are clearly covered in her materials. The rest requires THINKING (or as they like to say REASONING). You will learn more than you expect, but not exactly WHAT you are expecting.

very nice lady, and really "wants" to make you learn. i enjoyed her as a teacher, however i hated her exams. she never even gave a brief heads up on what to study or anything. I ususally found several questions that i felt were pretty irrelevant and/or things that we never discussed.Picking the best answer, on some you may need to be psychic!!
