This dude is a great lecturer, would recommend taking his courses if you're ever debating between him and someone else. I can honestly say I LEARNED what he taught instead of memorizing. Will make you put effort in to receive a good grade, but it's super rewarding when you do.

Comment:

Lectures are usually a little hard to follow (you need to pay attention, and take good notes!), but Meng genuinely cares about his students and wants everyone to succeed. He's a tough marker, but rewards those who come to him for help, participate, and ask questions. Very helpful, but only if you are putting the effort in yourself!

Dr. Meng's enthusiasm for the topic is amazing. He will get you excited about electricity and magnetism. His lectures went by quickly because they were so great. The course itself is tough and many will struggle through it. He will give you plenty of opportunities to succeed if you try for it. He's generous with how he scales the final grades.

Great prof, has excellent notes and teaches very clearly. He will let you know when the class had low scores when he gives his "I can't believe it guys" speeches. Overall one great prof though!

Easy to understand, really likes the material. Harsh guy if you mess up on something he thinks is basic, has a tendency to favorite certain students. Has no problem letting you know if he thinks you should drop the course. Go to class, do lots of practice questions and visit him in his office for help.

Best prof I've ever had. Hands down. Bit of a dink, but thats alright. GO TO CLASS and you will know the course inside and out by the end of semester. His notes are wonderful and extremely necessary. Hard Final (considering the relative ease of the material). Study hard for quizzes for easy marks.
