The tests aren't easy at all! but there are so many little assignments that make a difference. and the behavior change project due at the end of the semester isn't that hard either. Just make sure to pay attention and ask questions.

She is very intelligent, I thought this class was interesting. The tests are not too easy but she does give you a study guide which REALLY helps. Everything is organized and lecture notes are always on blackboard. There is a project/paper that was time consuming but not that difficult. You can get an A if you study and work hard.

Interesting class, great teacher. She lays out all of the information for you so there's no reason why anyone shouldn't pass. What's best about her is that she cares what students think about lectures and the class overall. I could have done without the group dicussions though. But that's just me...

Dr. Gallo was an awesome prof. She was willing to clarify any concepts that seemed confusing and was very assesible. She definately made health psych interesting. However, the first exam is tougher than the second. It is mostly book-based so read the book before the exam. Other than that, attend the class and do the paper and you'll get an easy B.

She seems to actually enjoy the students... I think thats rare at SDSU. She is helpful, really smart...I recommend her to anyone. 2 tests(30% each), 1 essay (25%), and a small participation grade (15%).

Dr. Gallo is the MOST understanding professor you will ever have. Very clear in her demands (which are not too many) and loves teaching. You should take ANY class she teaches!

No need to even buy the book. Gallo uses thorough power-point presentations. She enables you to get a good grade in this class while. I've learned a lot as well. Take the class. You won't be disapointed.
