This is a good class for developing college-level writing skills. She herself was kind of odd. I was not super impressed. She was a good teacher but often dressed inappropriately. Overall it was not too bad. The class isn't too bad as long as you put the work in.

Dr. Daoud was an excellent professor. Class times were interesting, expectations were clearly laid out at the beginning of the semester, she gave excellent feedback on essays, minimal homework, extra-credit opportunities, reading material was intriguing, and she was extremely helpful. As long as you are invested in the class, you'll do well.

Prof. Perry is a great teacher. She gets her points across well. I had her for Waistlines, Wallets, and Weddings. The class was good and if you are a half-decent writer you can get an A. If you can't write a paper for your life you wont' do well. Would recommend.

I had Dr. Perry for Survey of American Literature Part 1 and she was great! The reading load is really heavy but I learned a lot from the course and she is extremely helpful whenever approached with any questions by students. I would recommend her to anyone going to take English!
