Kaller treats her students like third graders. She turns off the lights during group discussion for us to quiet down. She lets you work with partners, but insists that you each turn in a seperate report with every word different- but still have both of your names on the project. Grades homework inconsistently. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Outstanding! Kaller just adds to the awesome math program for education majors at UMD. While the class can be challenging, because you have to actually think, she rewards you for your hard work. Kaller is not afraid to give extra credit if you work hard! She wants all of her students to succeed. TAKE HER!!

Mrs. Kaller is a very good math teacher! She makes math somewhat understandable and knows her stuff. She is very personable to her students and learns everyone's name! Although she would make tons of mistakes in problems, she was a great teacher. It's just too bad she told my class that she would be retiring at the end of the summer semester.

Kaller is a wonderful teacher. As a matter of fact one of my favorites at UMD, and I am a junior. I have to laugh at all of the grammatical errors of those complaining about her. Maybe your just not college material! She wants her students to understand and she does a great job explaining the material.

Mean to her? Even if you're not "mean to her" she's quite unprofessional in how she responds to students (it's almost laughable, like where does she get off talking to us that way!). Nonetheless, she IS the BEST the Elem. Ed. Math Dept. has to offer - finally an instructor who KNOWS math (compared to most others in the Math Dept).

I have taken all 3 math courses at here & with different instructors and she was the best. This is the only math course I did not struggle in. Do a little more then accpected & you will earn extra credit. She does favor stduents but be on her good side and your good to go. Show effort and she will pass u. She is not as scary as people say she is.

I have taken each math class with a different instructor and she was the only one that I liked. The only bad thing is that you better be on her good side if you are then you have nothing to worry about. She will pass you if you show effort. Do a little more than your supposed to and you will get extra credit.
