Really nice prof, classes are pretty entertaining. 2 exams based mainly on lecture. Most of the other assignments come from the TA who leads your dicussion group. Pretty easy A. Fulfulls Understanding Artistic Forms credit. Get to see the plays OU puts on, which are great.

She is actually quite funny--she definitely has the Canadian sarcastic sense of humor, so have an open mind. The assignments are easy. Just follow the directions and show that you put a little thought into it and you'll get an A. She's very helpful, too. If you have questions, don't be afraid to ask. She WILL help you.

very nice woman. simple, fairly easy class, though most assignments come at the end of the semester (honors section). Some instructions are not that clear, but ask her and she is more than willing to help/explain. A good class for the arts requirement. just be sure to AVOID the TAs! take honors!

I loved this woman. She was very passionate, always available for questions, and very, very clear. This class is real easy- great for an easy artistic forms credit.

What an opinionated, egotistical @&#!*. She is unreasonable, unclear and sometimes keeps you over the alotted time. When it comes to lectures, she thinks she knows something about DRAMA, but in reality, who cares? Besides, she is teaching an intro course at OU...big accomplishment. Avoid her unless you want to join her narrow world of theater.

Gave me 0's because HER istructions were unclear. I wrote a paper answering 3 of her questions, turns out she only wanted one answered, she gave me a zero. I double spaced instead of single spaced I got a zero. When I didn't quote a specific example, despite giving multiple ones, I got half off. Strict, annoying, opinionated, and on some high horse

Not a difficult class by any means. I haven't opened the book once. She gives out test reviews and goes in depth over the plays you have to read. You have to attend several plays - not bad. Only problem-she is very opinionated almost to the point of obnoxious.

I hated this class, it was easy and all but she got on my nerves so bad. She thinks she is the queen of theater or something, I mean come on, you're teaching in Oklahoma lady. She constantly butted into the guest speaker's presentations to give her oh so insightful opinions.

I must admit that I didn't learn as much as I would have liked, but that's been OU for me. Karen is a very kind person. I was ill and she was very sensitive to my needs. I'm thankful and I'll never forget how sympathetic and nice she was.
