Her lectures are not clear. She teaches strictly from the book. When asked about something that is not in the book, she never could answer the question. Her exam questions are unclear. She had TA's write the midterm and correct them. She showed BBC videos once a week and never tested on them. She did not show up for exam review days.

she is the most amazing professor ever. do not listen to the previous comment She is brilliant I must say our T.A.s were horrible but Karen had no idea The Final was B.S and had nothing to do with what we covered but Dr. M had no idea The TAs made it she didnt This woman is a SAINT and a gift from god! Do yourself a favor and take a class with her!

Her lectures jump around (they don't go with the book), shows lots of videos instead of teaching, TA's did study review session and couldn't even answer our questions. TA's did not do a good job writing the exams. The final was 9 pages long and didn't ask any of the stuff I had studied. The professor doesn't make teaching a priority,not recommended

Highly recommended for summer session. NO FINAL! Grade is based on best 3 of 4 quizzes and they're not hard at all. All based on lecture and they're not cumulative. Each one is based on like 2 chapters. Attend lecture, study your lecture notes with a little of th book and you'll get an A.

Definitely take her Bild3 in summer.All tests are on the lecture. You can even drop one test! Not that hard, just remember to study.

Although at the first class she told us she would probably curve, she did not cuve at all. Her midterm was easy, if you looked at her old exam online, but the final was very hard, or the kinds of problems in which you have to think deeply. Lectures were straightforward, and you should take notes as well as write down all what she says.

Her exams are based on her lectures. She basically writes all the important points on the board, but you should also take notes of what she says, cuz they could be on exams too. She did not curve so grades are what you got on exams; she dropped one of the quizzes, which could be called midterms too. Overall her class was kinda easy; I recommend her

TA's spend more time surfing than knowing the information in the book. If you know more than the TA's on the exam and show it, be prepared for less than full credit. Discussions a waste of time. Professor gets back to you in 2-3 days
