I wish I had the option to drop and add another class with a different teacher because Paer is NOT a good TA. 1) She goes on her own tangent and rants frequently about things that don't deal w/lecture. 2) She is very unclear and too broad on what she expects essays to have, and doesn't try to teach the class on what to write about. Frustrating.

I think she is very nice and sweet. Midterms and finals are easy if you attend lectures and do the reading (lecture notes) or you can pull allnigter studying study questions. Pretty hard on essays, don't know what she wants. No grading rubrics, so she gives you whatever she feels.

She really was a nice lady and can be helpful during class time and in her conference hours. She didn't exactly provide the answers I was looking for when I asked her questions. I thought her midterm and final were easy--I managed to get away with not reading one of the books.

She's a very nice lady, however this hum core dis. was basically her just talking for most of the time. For class participation, everyone did a really short presentation. The midterm/final weren't bad at all and the essay she's not too hard on. She's very helpful with essays but be there early b/c she takes like half an hour for each person.

Kim was a very nice lady; I thought she was very sweet! She may not have been the clearest of all instructors but you cannot deny that she was freaking easy!!! We did nothing in her class and she graded really easily on our essays. Do not take her if you want to actually learn; take her if you want to boost your GPA without trying!

Talks about her life a lot. Cares about the students a lot. Go to office hours for the essays, listen to what she suggests, follow it as closely as possible and you'll get at least a B+. Grades very leniently on midterm, not too sure about final. This class is really vigorous, so make sure u read. Only takes roll 1st day of class.

i thought she was the sweetest woman, even though she wasnt very clear or talked about the lecture too much. just sit through the class and go to lectures, midterm and final straight from that...essay grading is ok not hard or easy just gives you a chance to get a good grade. i got a b- and a- and didnt even read half the books

The most vague discussion leader I've had. She leaves only broad-ended questions for her students, many of whom do not participate in class due to her lack of clarity and her constant need for telling stories that usually end up becoming rants. She's not very organized so don't expect to take notes, get clear assigments, or set dates.

She is very vague on her assignments, she gives us an EXTREMELY vague assignment and expects us to know what to do. Also, shes one of those teachers that try to make everyone participate, so she *will* call on you even though you do not have your hand raised. She talks like shes going to die on us, so softly and weakly!

I loved her! She is so sweet and caring. She makes hum core more interesting. She is not like the other hum core teachers that follow the guidelines exactly. she helped me with my paper a great deal. If you get her, you are VERY lucky.

she never makes time for her students in office hours. the assignments are unclear, and some a waste of your time (journal entries). she doesnt use a grading rubric, so her grading technique is very subjective. her discussions are never relevant to the texts, and usually span off into political rants that never apply to lecture.
