There will be some point where you won't like her. She might've picked on you, gone insane during your 1-on-1 meetings or insulted your essay. In the end she's a sweet lady who really just wants to help you. But if you can't stand her criticism the writing center helps a lot! She might throw a few pop quizzes but tests are really easy and bs-able!

Professor Folkenflik is such a nice discussion leader! She sends a lot of emails and assigns a good amount of work but it's not bad at all since her grading is fair. Go to her office hours and you'll be fine.

Prof. Folkenflik is absolutely wonderful. She is such an amazing person. I loved this section with her. It's hard to get A's on her essays, but she's still quite fair with her grading and exams. TAKE HER! She's great, and go to her office hours. Expect a lot of emails from her; she likes to be very involved. They're very helpful.

I found her discussions sort of off topic. She helped me a lot for office hours. I felt that her grading was kind of arbitrary. Make sure to do all the drafts she assigned and go to as many office hours as possible, because she'll get to know you and it will help your grade immensely.

By far my favorite professor. She is a fair grader, very helpful on essays, and remembers the names of her students. Her discussions are interesting, but participate moderately and you will be ok. It helps that she calls on people occasionally but does not puut you on "the spot." Considers your opinion. Simply and amaing professor

I think she's a very nice teacher who is very helfpu if you have any questions. She made me feel very welcome whenever I came by to stop and visit her at her office hours. She claims she's never had any complaints about her grading and while I doubt that, I did not personally have any myself. I think she's an easy to fair grader. Good class.

Aw... Such a wonderfully nice person. Always willing to help me - even outside office hours. Very considerate. Appreciates effort. And the final was very relevant and fair. Even though I hate humanities more than ANYTHING, I loved her.

Shes kinda nutso, but generally really nice and easy to get along with. She doesnt grade to hard and she will help you out. She often says weird irrelevant stories but they do tend to spice up the class. I would take her again

I thought she was pretty cool and interesting. We talked about random things at times, but it worked for me. I really liked the way she graded essays b/c she values content over other things. Midterm was pretty good, but final was a bit hard. Enjoyable.

Easy. Fun discussions, helpful with essays, easy grader, flexible with due dates, doesn't grade busy work but requires a little of it. Kinda psycho at first, but she cares about her students.
