Disorganized and sometimes unclear on lecture material. Some test/quiz questions were so confusing and debatable that after we got our test/quiz back, she wouldn't count the question or would accept multiple answers.

The textbook is useless. She lectures but does not seem to understand the material. Does not answer the question you actually ask her in class. Quizzes are you either get an A or you miss 1 and get a B. Exams are waaay to long. Try to avoid.

She is a decent professor for an intro course. Not an approachable professor, and does not try her best to help struggling students. I am a hard-working, smart student, but I am not particularly good with biology. She said that I would not past an exam bc I asked her a few basic questions on the subject tested on the day before an exam. I got a 96

Good but not clear on exam material. Concepts are easy but you must know them in depth, since the exam questions can be confusing. Field trips into the woods were fun. Just stay on her good side by participating and you'll be fine.

worst professor i have ever had at union. 50% of the grade was determined during finals week and the class was so boring that nobody could stay awake. No clear instructions on the only lab worth 19% of the grade. Very inconsistent grader and it depends on her mood what grade you get. Avoid at all cost

I had for ecology, and shes amazing. By far, the best teacher I've ever had at Union College. She will go out of her way to help you and make sure you succeed. Shes not easy, but definetely fair and you'll learn a lot. I never missed a class, and never wanted to!
