A nice person, but completely scatter-brained as a prof. Her lectures were all over the place and her tests completely incomprehensible (fill-in-the-blank, but you'd have to *be* the prof to understand what on earth she wanted). The course should have been interesting, but her lectures were just frustrating. Read the textbook instead.

Can someone please tell me how this lady is a professor? Her classes are so useless. If it weren't for my textbook I would have failed. Her notes that she posts on the internet are usesless and when you go to class all she does is read over them and does not expand at all on the concepts. You DO NOT want her as a prof!!

loved her. shes fair and she hardly uses the text book. all you ned it basically in her notes. Her tests are fair, not too hard and she has very interestiong stories. Because of this teacher, Im majoring in psych. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed her class. She was always clear about what to expect on tests, and pretty much outlined all the essentials in her lecture notes, which she gave us in class. Always friendly and liked to tell goofy stories to make things more interesting. If you actually attend class and study, you'll be fine!

If you see a problem with thinking self-report measures are accurate to predicting behaviour, heredity is more important than environment and omitting vital parts of studies when they don't prove your point, this class is not for you. Content is interesting, however empirically tested most of the theories discussed have been disproved.

Nothing but text book smarts here. Kathy is full of assumptions and way too judgemental for me. Really disturbed me that she is and has been teaching psychology for years. I haven't run into one student that had anything positive to say about her except that if you whined she would change your mark. <yikes>

BORING... the only reason why I went to this class was for the occasional video, which she tested the class on. I definitely DO NOT recommend taking this course with her. She makes such a potentially fun class seem completely boring!

A very boring class. She puts notes up on the internet before class so you don't even have to attend lectures because she reads right from them. Also, they are basically drawn right from the textbook- just a bunch or regurgitation. Try Burris's psych 257.
