Comment:

Mumaw seems like a very nice person, but I did not enjoy her as a professor very much at all. She graded us mostly based off of tests, with a couple homework assignments. Her class had little to no student involvement and the exams were very confusing compared to what the lectures would prepare you for. Had no passion for helping people learn.

This lady is awful, she isn't clear at all, your grade is from a few tests plus some online homework she doesn't tell you about until it is post due. A ton of difficult multiple choice questions are on her tests and she is awful at explaining thing and gets into awful moods from time to time

Mumaw taught my Accounting Information Systems class. She walks in the classroom & starts yelling information like "SO TODAY WE WILL GO OVER THAT THE PCAOB GOVERNS AUDITORS.." so you literally have a word document open ready to type every word she says extremely fast. The tests are all essay, and NOT straight from the book. 4-5 projects.

This class entails a lot of work. However, Mrs. Mumaw is always available to help! But, you must go to her. Her tests are basically all essay/short answer. The projects are very helpful. Know chapter 3 inside & out! It is the basis for the course

Terrible class. She does not test on anything you talk about in class. She told us you dont need the book, then took her tests from questions in the book. Tests are impossible and she always wants a very specific answer.

Took the for the spreadsheet lab. she is very nice, helpful and explains it well. It is however a lot to learn in 6 weeks if youve never used excel. Save classwork on flash drive and review, and use Youtube tutorials to help. Her tests are very fair.

This class was extremely boring and Mrs. Mumaw has even said that herself. She is so sweet but her tests are so difficult. She does tell you what questions in the book to review for exams but most of them aren't on the test. Her questions are too vague to know what she's asking. The first project is difficult but if you get through the first 8 weeks you should be fine.

Took her for the Accounting Spreadsheet course that counts for one credit. Thought it was going to be an easy credit, I was wrong. Take this class if you think you know Excel or want to sharpen your skills. Would not take if you never touched the program! Very understanding professor and will go out of her way to help you out, so 2 thumbs up.

Very nice lady willing to help you in whatever way possible. You must take the class very seriously and you will probably have to spend alot of time teaching yourself the material. Not recommended with those who aren't good in acccounting!

She was one of the worst teachers ive had in the business college. Shes nice, but can not teach at all. she acts like you already know all the material and just reads through it so fast. Do not get her.. shes nice but not in the right profession!

Mumaw is the best! Highly helpful, shows you what you need to learn by going over HW! Do the HW, do it again after she does it, read definitions in book, no problems! Very clear, very concise and a great teacher!!!

I had a very hard time in this class. For whatever reason, I didn't have the best foundation in Accounting and struggled. Ms. Mumaw is a great professor if you have a solid base in Accounting. If not, then you are going to struggle. This class is hard. You must read the chapters more than once and not miss a class.
