Dr. Pearson may be the smartest person I know. She knows her craft like no one else and is always there to help you. She has consistently proven herself as my absolute favorite instructor. Take her classes, you won't regret it!

she rocks! tns of reading and lots of writing but knows her stuff. a lot of focus on archeological data for history. if you are a hist major you must take her.the only downside is her classes are too early. but she is very helpful ive had her four times and never gotten below a B+...

I took her for 3 different history classes and they were all great! Dr. Pearson is a treasure trove of knowledge when dealing with antiquity and the early medieval period. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in ancient history!

Dr. Pearson is a good professor if you enjoy looking at slides throughout the whole class. The class can be boring at times and be prepared to get up early. All her classes start at 8 am. She is very clear on what she wants and there is a lot of reading. She takes a liking to military guys and the younger crowds. Others should avoid taking her.

I come here to read up on prospective professors, but Dr. Pearson is so wonderful that I had to do a review. She is without a doubt the best teacher I've had in any school. She cares, is helpful and flexible, and very knowledgeable on her subjects. If she doesn't know something she'll tell you and find out. I can't recommend her classes enough.

She was without a doubt the best teacher I ever had. Her class was interesting and fun, something to look forward to going to. Reading was a must, but her lectures were so filled with her own knowledge that you really felt she was teaching you something you couldn't get from your average book. Grading was fair, too, and she was helpful.

Have taken at least 13 courses from her. Tough cookie but tells you that in advance. Show up, take notes. DO THE READING OR ELSE, be on time with your papers and study for the tests and you'll do well. On the way up side - fascinating classes!!! Monks like cheese, beavers a fish and sacred chickens can't swim are a few of the things you'll learn.

I had Dr. Pearson for two classes this summer. She is down to earth and doesn't beat around the bush. She goes out of her way to help you and also does what she says she's going to do. Fun, entertaining, and EXTREMELY KNOWLEGDEABLE. Do not slack off. Do participate in class. You will get so much out of it!
