Professor Grosso gave us a strategy outline to write research papers. Golden! It took me some getting use to bease I was over thinking. She answered every question I had and held my hand at times to make sure I understood. If you fail this class it's because you didn't reach out to her. She was readily available. Loves to teach and is a joy.

I absolutely loved her class. She is extremely helpful and will sit with you until you understand what it is you need to do. By far the best professor I have had. She has no problem repeating things if you need more explaining. However, this is not an easy grade you need to earn it.

Prof Grosso is very goofy and nice. She will make time to help you but she does have HIGH expectations. Don't take her class if you expect to get an easy A. I putforth more effort in this class than I ever have, and I recieved my first B ever :( She will definitely explain things to you if you ask. Take her if you want to learn, not to breeze by.

i took kay for eng 101 and i thought it was a tought class but showed motivation and iniciative to pass and she helped,i was in her office almost everyday and she is extremely helpful thanks to her i recieved all HIGH B's in my englisg 102 class she taught me everything i know of college levEl writing and MLA FORMAT

As one of the previous people stated, I felt that this professor did not like my opinion. On all the papers I was marked down with things like "You have nothing to back up your claims" when I listed the sources in a million different ways. This teacher would criticize at every turn. Take her if you're views are liberal.

I had Kay for back-to-back ENG101/102 accelerated courses, and she was at every step helpful and encouraging. She does like to tell stories, so be prepared to wander a lot in class (ask about Uganda to buy yourself some time ;)). Also, she's soon to leave, which will be a terrible loss.

Very biased on her grading. Felt reprimanded for my beliefs that did not agree with hers. She's willing to help you out but it is more of a demeaning way. Overall didn't like the class very much.

Kay is a very intelligent person. She has insight that I didnt even know exsisted just from reading one paragraph of an essay. She breaks the writings down so that there is a meaning behind everything. She only gives you assignments over the weekeend. You can only miss 4 Classes. Great teacher!

Kay is AWESOME! I took her for English 101 and 102. She's very clear and extremely helpful. If you want an A, it is possible. The only possible way to fail her class is to not pay attention in class and not turn your papers in.

English is, was, my WORST subject. I absolutely dreaded having to take this class, but of course, it was a requirement. Kay made the class fun and easier than I ever expected. I had to write a 12-15 page paper, and I just knew I would fail. Thanks to Kay's techniques she taught, it was a breeze!!! I'd definitely recommend her!!!
