She is a great Professor and she is super nice. She makes this class fun and very interesting. You only have to do 4 short essays and 3 exams, that is it. She takes attendance each day, in addition you need to show up to take your notes because she does NOT post them to blackboard at all. Take her, you won't regret it.

lovely lady who makes class very interesting. Must show up for class to takes notes on her own presentation. If you miss class, you have to rely on a classmate to share their notes. I wish i could take her again.

Took her for Intro to Socio and I loved her! Be prepared to take notes (No powerpoints) and she checks attendance every class even though it doesn't count. 3 in class tests plus the final but she will drop the lowest grade out of the 4. If you want to pass, go to class. Her tests come from her lectures.

Only 4 papers and 3 tests through out the entire semester. She is very understanding and helpful and she makes the lectures interesting by adding personal stories. Her grading style is easy and everything is straightforward, there is no way you can fail her class. I really enjoyed her this semester.

Lectures are fun especially if you interact with her. three test and they hard a little! You can get away with an older edition for the textbook and you really do not need if you go to class. There are 4 writing assignments and equals 1 test grade. DO THE ASSIGNMENTS! It will make a difference in your grade. I made a C bc I missed one. Take HER!!

Professor Mougouris class lectures are engaging and interesting, she utilizes practical scenarios/examples in relation to the class material. Test come from class lectures, her passionate, engaging lectures are life-changing and help me to understand how sociology influences our everyday lives. This class is not difficult, (easy).

Her lectures were always interesting to listen to, I enjoyed her lectures. She always had a story to tell that would match up with the lesson. Show up to class everyday in order to pass the class, her tests mainly cover notes from her lectures. Take good notes!! I would take her class again!!

You'd almost have to be brain dead not to pass this class. Her tests are straight from the lectures, so much so that I barely used the textbook. Show up to class, take the notes, listen to what she talks about and you'll make an A as well as learn a little something.

Great professor, I would recommend her to anyone no matter if it's just for an elective or as a Sociology major/minor! Enjoyed attending her lectures, very clear and the exams are straight from the notes so make sure to attend her classes!

She is an excellent professor. She is one of the best professors at UHD. I took her for 3 classes SOC 1303, 2303 and 3306 and if she taught another class I haven't taken I would take that one too. I received an A+ in all three classes, not because I am smart, but because she is an excellent teacher.

Great professor, she will help you if you ask her. Her test are from notes and the books, she drops the lowest test grade. She knows the subject well. Tells stories that relate to what shes teaching so you can understand it better. Always asks if everyone understands before moving to new topic. She is what a teacher should be.

Great professor! If I wasn't so far into my major I would change it to Sociology. She is really nice,interesting and helpful. Her class can only be hard if you don't go and don't study other than that it is easy and interesting. If you don't pass this class you did not try at all. Great Professor wish she would teach more classes at this school.

This professor is excellent! I'm currently taking her. She really knows her stuff and makes class very interesting. Don't buy the book, you will rarely use it. Come to class and take good notes because that's what the tests are based on. After taking her, I'm thinking about changing my major.

Professor Mougouris was great. Her class could not have been easier. Her tests are multiple choice and short answer, with plenty of extra credit. She give a review sheet that helps alot. Negative reviews are wrong, her lectures relate to the class. I highly recommend this prof!!
