I think Dr. C is an awesome guy, although i found this course to be a lot of work and difficult. the critique that he gives on essays is the best that i have had from any prof! overall one of the best profs.

This class is difficult only if you do not attend class, do the assigned readings and attempt the discussion questions. If you want to get an A. Do the readings at least twice, and then the discussion questions. The editor's summaries of the readings are very very helpful. Stick with it!

Took the class a few years ago and agree with the statement that it was an easy A. If you're having probs it's probably b/c you aren't doing the reading (in which case it's your own fault - you're in university, did you think it would be handed to you?) or you just don't know how to think for yourself (if that's the case, good luck with life).

He's a real jerk, but a decent prof. The class is fair: just read the text, attend lectures and you'll do fine. Don't write down his overheads - he hates that! *lol*

If you can get passed his sarcasim, arrogant and his belittling attitude towards first year students, the course itself isn't bad. The text is relevant and well chosen. He's well organized, is conscientious to be a good educator. First test catches you off guard. Goods skills learned.
