He's a nice guy, but kinda creepy. The book is a must. He puts very few questions from lectures on tests. He goes quickly, and expects you to have the notes already.

Davis is a funny guy. His lectures are all right, but I never paid much attention to them. The main thing is read the book and you will do fine on the exams. Overall, very easy class and can be interesting at times.

He is really nice. He does everything possible to help you get an A. His teaching is a little difficult but he types up notes for you so just print them off and study them and the practice test before the exam and all will be fine. Super easy.

He's a nice old man. Willing to meet with you if you have questions about your grades or paper (there's 1 research paper). You must read the modules/chapters and study his notes. If truly internalize the book info and the notes you should be good. Attendance isn't mandatory but you get extra credit assignments in class, so it helps to go.

I think he's retiring next semester, so this may be pointless. Davis is a sweet man, but OLD. He makes jokes sometimes that are pretty funny. Most of his note go on BlackBoard. The tests focus a lot on statistics though, so memorize them. His reviews help a lot though, so use them.

Going to class is pointless. I taught myself PSYC 101. He does have inclass exercises, but he usually announces when he will have them on blackboard. Go to SI sessions, and read read read the chapters. Get the GradeAid, he gets a lot of questions from his test there. Overall, hes really nice, just SO boring.

I studied my butt off for every test and I still can't figure out where he got some of the questions from. I made in the 70s on all of the tests, but i ended up with a B because of in class excerises and research participation. Going to class is basically pointless.

Not an easy class at all. Must study your butt off and read and reread and reread chapters. Classes are pointless. Must teach yourself. Avoid at all possible.

he's nice and will answer any question you have. lectures can be boring but he tries to make them as interesting as possible. you get pts if you're in class on certain days and the tests aren't bad if you read and study your notes. good teacher.

He is just real old and boring, if you read the chapters you can pass the class easy without going to class. The only time you really need to be there is when he does in class exercises, which are sometimes unannouced

People get annoyed b/c he expects you to learn material and actually read. That's crazy condidering this is college! j/k! Knows his stuff! He's an expert in romantic relationships. If you really want to learn, take him. If you are lazy...then don't. You can really learn a lot. I sure have!

He lectures straight from the notes and he gave old tests for practice questions. Plenty of opportunity for extra credit. Lectures can be dry and lengthy, but for the exams, it's straight up memorization and regurgitation. He is also clear and helpful.

Great instructor. You earn your grade in his class. You put the effort in, you'll get the grade you want. If you're the type of student that actually wants to learn something, this is the prof. for you.

Davis is not a hard teacher, he just doesn't go along with all this grade inflation crap. His tests are only hard in that they actually check if you have learned the material - what a concept! He also gives the opportunity to talk to him after class; he is very intelligent, and if you get to know him, he will help you out. My favorite prof. ever.

prof. Davis is a nice guy and he tells alot of jokes in class. however the class is really hard. The test are pretty harsh. He put all his notes on blackboard but his test don't come straight from the notes or lectures. I encourage you to buy the book and start reading B4 classes even begin. I ended up with a C in the class.
