He is the worst professor I've ever had. I sought help from him outside of class & instead of trying to help me, he told me I wasn't working hard enough and to seek a tutor. If you understand the subject before taking the class you're golden, but if not take another professor. The format for his homework and test is unbelievably hard.

Very tough professor, but fair. He knows his stuff very well. Is able to give out the formulas very well, but not very well in explaining why. If you want a decent grade in the class you have to work very hard to do so. Take him if you want to learn

He's a great teacher, and a really interesting guy. He makes sure you understand everything before he moves on. Still, his tests are difficult and you will have to study lots if you want to do well. He makes up for it with weirdly funny stories. If you want to enjoy and understand math, take the class. If you want an A, avoid like the plague.

Take him! His class is not easy by any means, but he explains things so well to where it is not a problem. I would take again in a heartbeat. He was a good teacher for 8am and he loves his fish. Everything is straightforward, and we got notecards on tests and quizzes.

A great teacher! This is a hard class, so expect to work, but he explains things well and is always willing to give extra help. A very lenient grader, and gives a lot of partial credit. Enjoyable class, especially the fish tank stories. I would definitely recommend this professor, and would take another class with him if I got the chance.

he reminded me of the dopey guy from 3rd rock from the sun...his quizzes were easy and his tests were not...never do the homework...just know the examples he goes over in class whether via homework or notes...and youll be set

Dr. Wolcott is possibly the best math teacher eastern has. He tells you exactly what you need to no for each test and he honestly uses the quizes on the next test, how easy is that? He spends alot of time inclass going over homework. Tests are fair, you do your homework and youll have an A no doubt. Curves every test

Friendly, energetic, and cheerful all the time even in early morning classes. Inclass tests are extremely hard, take home tests are a little harder, but with the book and notes are much more do able. True/False portions of tests are killer. Do homework all the time and understand all examples given in class.

Nice guy. Doesnt grade homework. Quizzes are occasionl...about every other week on Fridays. Tests are sorta hard but he doesnt grade hard and curves tests slightly. Hes a little fast when explaining chapter and kinda rushes through. I reccomend especially if u dont want a lot of work.

How can you fail a student based on their first test score??? Even though i passed the first test, the way he taught sucked. His tests were hard and lengthy, definately wouldnt recommend this teacher
