Class was not easy like I had hoped from reading these comments. Class was fun but to pass you really have to study a lot and do a lot of homework. This was the first Spanish class that required me to work hard for the grade. Other professors were boring but easierj....

If you're like me and dreaded having to fulfill Span 201, take Profe Pepe. His quizzes are multiple choice, he structures classes so they're not a bore/ go by quickly, and he gives extra credit. If you're looking to really grasp and learn spanish I might recommend a different professor.

Pepe is the best! Lots of fun speaking and interacting with students and whole class.No boring grammar lectures of simple rules the text explains. He does expect you to study the material ahead of time, so it's obvious when you are not studying.

Not sure what these people are talking about?! If you want or need to learn spanish, take another teacher. Yes this guy is a breeze, cause he is lazy. Barely got to class, and for a two day a week class, let us out an hour early. But if you take him for 102, make sure you take him for 201 - cause you won't know enough for another teacher.

Had him for 102 and 201 and you legitimately have to try not to pass this class. He accepts late work, homework is almost all online,and test are very similar to study guides. I've had many spanish teachers in my life and he is by far the easiest.

Very interactive,knows class' names.Once you start activities he comes around for questions patiently. I loved this since I am a little shy. I payed attention and made an effort to communicte and I am speaking Spanish. If you need a more basic method or have weak study skills, he may not be the prof for you.No boring grammar lectures Yeah!

First off let me say he is a nice, likeable teacher, yes. BUT, he really expects you to teach yourself, and I personally want a teacher who actually teaches you the material. So if Spanish is not the easiest thing for you I would really recommend finding a professor who is nice and also teaches.

Really nice teacher. Wants you to learn and has a passion for mexican culture. Laid back. Homework online & isnt due until the midterm and final. Puts quizzes online. If study what he tells you to study and attend class then will get a good grade. Makes class really fun- usually play games in spanish like go fish and matching. Great teacher

He makes spanish very easy to learn. the only reason why the class is hard is because the Department makes it hard, but it's also a beginning language class. he knows what he is talking about, he's extremely nice and will help you if you ask him. switches up teaching styles to help all students. a+ guy
