I liked Ken as a person, but as a professor he was horrible. He cares about his students and tried to make class interesting, but expects you to read 50+ pages of material a week and remember all the events, people, and random facts from each piece of text. Tests are super specific and impossible to accurately study for. Do not take as a gen ed.

Because I took it online, the tests were only multiple choice on ICON. I didn't even recognize some words on the tests and they were rough. For writing assignments: just write down word for word his lectures and add in as much info as you can pertaining to the topic.

Took the Winter Anatomy section, only 12 days of class made it challenging, but it was doable because Mobily is a strong lecturer and will work with you to do your best. Tests are M/C with two very short essays. Easy to pass, tough to ace.

Awesome teacher! I am taking the three week winter class right now and its hard but definately doable. He makes lectures interesting and I would definately reccomend him as a professor. The tests are fairly easy as long as you follow the objectives.

i have never been a complainer, but do yourself a favor and NEVER take this teacher. He rambles for entire periods about topics that dont pertain to leisure (and then tests you on random segments of his rambling). The last day people were (half) joking that they felt awkward telling people that leisure was their hardest class. simply TERRIBLE.

Ken Mobily is a silly guy, and it makes lectures fun and interesting. He does a good job of highlighting what you should know for the exams. Though he posted lectures online, it's probably best that you attend lecture so you can pick up on his hints as to what is going to be on the tests, and get a better sense of what the slides are talking about.

I took the 3 week summer course and it was way too much information in such a short time. He would sometimes go ahead of what was scheduled for that day and just run through the material. That is not teaching.

Excellent professor! He definitely makes lectures interesting; really funny man, he tells jokes and stories. Exams not tricky, know the objectives and the powerpoints and you are set for a good grade in that class. He's definitely my favorite professor here at the university. I recommend taking a class with him!

First of all, he tells you what's going to be on the tests in objectives. Second of all his classes are pretty entertaining because he is pretty funny. And third of all he is super helpful. I accidentally missed a test and he was very helpful in getting everything figured out and understanding.
