This dude is a genius. He is also very clear on what he wants you to learn. His immuno class in undergrad was great, but he is even better in med school. Super good at teaching what is important, and teaching to the exam (his exam and the boards). Get his old tests for his undergrad classes!!!!

Dr. Hunter is extremely knowledgable often asks questions that make you wonder if you understand the content. The old days of using past exams may help you narrow in on the focus for his exams but his questions are tricky. Some students will say, "Read the book" others will say "Memorize slides."Avoid.

Not very specific regarding the material on exams which is important considering the fact that immunology is a very broad field. Emails are answered (as he told us) with 48 hours. He asked us to not memorize and familiarize yourself with charts but unless you have taken immunology courses before you have to memorize every little detail. Typical

His class was really interesting. That I didn't get a better grade is entirely my own fault. My only complaint is that he doesn't tell the students (always in a large lecture hall) to sit down and shut up, so time is lost while he waits for the little darlings.

Not a bad guy. In fact hes likely one of my smartest teachers. Hes good at teaching immunology too.. Its his test that really get me. Some questions make it seem like hes trying to catch you off guard. Find someone who has all his past years test. memorize them 100% and how the questions can be slightly changed. Thats a place to start. STUDY HARD!

Dr. Hunter is very passionate about this subject. Although he talks kind of fast he is very smart and knows the subject. 3 Exams and a paper make up your grade. Exams are difficult but he gives you a practice one and if you get old exams you'll be ok because he recycles questions. Book is really confusing so buy it at your own risk.

Not a bad class. Interesting guy. Must enjoy the sound of his own voice because he takes a deep breath at the beginning of class, talks about immunology for an hour and fifteen minutes straight, then takes another deep breath and sends you on your way.

Dr. Hunter is one of the best professors I've had. His lectures are very informative and makes you want to listen. His tests are thorough, but they are mostly based off old exams. If you either have the textbook or the old tests, then you'll breeze through this class. Your grade is based on 3 exams and one research paper. Take his immunology class!

Excellent professor. Seems to know everything. Tests would be much more difficult of he did not recycle so many of his old test questions (which are available in all the old tests floating around).
