He also has worn the same white blazer 4 days in a row. just suck up to him if u get him and maybe you will get by if he is in the mood

pretty easy. he is clear about what he wants from you. if you read (or read spark notes) and listen to what he says in class you'll be fine. there are three papers. i didn't do so well on the first one but he was very clear about what he wanted me to do to improve. you'll do fine if you use plenty of quotes to support your argument.

Horrible. Not helpful. Doesn't care. Slurs words. Seriously. Leaves shirt unbuttoned and gross curly hair pops through it. One time he was writing on the board with his back to us and on the back of his suit coat was a footprint! Did someone step on him? Worst teacher I ever had. I managed to avoid him until Senior Seminar.

He was so annoyong as a teacher, very scattered, goign every which way when you are supposed to be taking notes. He will ask people if they have any input and instead of listening what people have to say, he gives his own answer, which is the ONLY one he wants back from you on a test.

You will do better in his classes if you wear tight sweaters and short skirts-- and that is ironic since half the classes he offer count as womens studies classes. He makes a really good case for getting rid of tenure. Total slob. And he smells. Avoid at all costs.

Great teacher. Once you adapt to his teaching style you'll do well. Journals count for a lot, but they're not due until the end of the semester. Pay attention and take good notes, his tests are open notes. He make look messy and unkempt, but he's super intelligent and knows his stuff.
