Very interesting professor. I payed attention, did my reading and got an A in pretty much every assignment (6 written assignments) and every test (4 tests). Don't just come and sit in his class hoping to pass it with a good grade. Be engaged and show an interest. Read the portions in the textbook he assigns and buy the extra book (McDonaldization of Society) and you'll do well. He seems ****, but he believes he's being funny. He made me feel ashamed for being a student at Bergen. :(

His class was pretty hard, but if you did all of your work you should be fine. One of the best professors I had so far in my school career. Knows his stuff and knows how to explain it well. Down side--Always late!!! Bad mouth, but fun and intersting at times, but sometimes made people feel like sh.t. I would recommend hi for those who want to learn

He has foul language, but he definitely commands the subject matter!! Get the textbook, take good notes, and use them to fill out the test review sheets and you will be fine. Also assigns a book + test on it, read it and DO the paper (extra credit, but I recommend). I got an A, but it's A LOT more work than your average community college class.

This man is a genius. Very well thought out arguments, extremely insightful. One of the best minds at bergen. He is also very ideological, but i cant pin down his specific philosophy. Take him if you like to learn.

he may have a dirty mouth, but it helps him get his point across and it helps if your losing interest in class. Obviously you need to do work in class. i crammed everything the night b4 an exam and got a B+. samething with mcdonalds book red it in 2days, did good. dont literally not do work but try like 3days b4 the exam and you should be fine

this is the first class i ever actually enjoyed going to. He is a great professor but you do have to do some work. He grades very well and he is the funniest prof. i ever had, HILARIOUS. I highly reccomend his class.

Prof sullivan, is one of, if not THE best professor at Bergen, HANDS DOWN. it was SUCH a pleasure to be in his class. It has been about 12 years since I was lucky enough to be in Prof. Sullivan's class. Never forgot what I learned, and those lessons continue to serve me well today. He is by far the best - what all teachers should be. One can't invent passion about a subject, but Sullivan had it. I had to come back even today and say, THANKS!

The best guy at BCC. He is intelligent,great sense of humor always cracking jokes and makes you want to attend class every time.He gives you real life examples to challenge and educate you.if your taking him the wrong way then your missing the point.You will learn so much from him on so many levels.Great man I highly recommend him to anyone.

This professor i pretty exciteing, makes me very interested. He is fun and his sense of humor is freaking SWEET!! lol he treats you like the young adults you should be. Sullivan is tounge in cheek. He plays devils advocate, and gives you real life examples to challenge and educate you. If you're taking his manner as crude and obnoxious, you're missing the point. He made social sciences fun, an he got me interested in learning.
