I liked her class. Yes, she has an accent but if you're smart you'll get used to pretty quickly. She's nice lady. She knows a lot and will help you out if you have questions. I would take her again.

If you are smart, you will not take this class. If you like struggling to understand heavy accents & want to do a lot of work because you don't have a life, sign up. I'm an A student and still wouldn't recommend this class to my worst enemy. The teacher is REALLY hard to understand, & expects you to do too much for a gen ed class. one word, RUN!

She is a good teacher and will understand if you have any problems but just let her know in advance. thigh she has a thick accent, she is a very good teacher. Her tests are kind of hard because it's a gen ed and I didn't study much for it. The maximum amount of time that I studied for it was 6 hours and that too before the day of test. Got an A

She doesn't post her powerpoints online even though the quizzes/exams are heavily pulled from it. Her accent is RIDICULOUSLY thick, i don't even know how she got the job. I didn't understand her at all. She is not worth the headache for someone to try and even decipher a little bit of what she is saying. Just take someone else

She's a nice woman but due to her thick, Russian accent she is very hard to understand. She requires you to read 2 books, do a 1-person presentation, and write a paper about that presentation and you take 2 quizzes and 2 tests. She is really heavy on the P.P. and she literally can bore you to tears. She's a very easy grader and as long as you show effort (you can B/S with her) you can pull a B. She's a bit of a pushover though, almost like a doormat with the cell and laptop policy.

Taking her class now. still have absolutely no idea what shes saying. you're supposed to read 2 books, just pay attention to the videos she shows about them. I literally made everything up on all 3 exams so far and got B's on all of them. Takes attendance every day. lots of information, knows her stuff.

she is a very nice lady, really into anthropology. it took me a month and a half to understand what she was saying but you get the hang of it. you have to read two beyond terrible books. non of her quizes/midterms/finals are multiple choice, all open ended. her powerpoints are helpful. shes not bad but work hard, everyone passes

She's got a thick russian accent so if you don't pay attention you won't understand the lecture! I sat in the front row as to pick up on the main ideas, and all the slides she uses are posted online. One major project, one major paper. She prepares you well for the quizzes ahead of time. Grading isn't impossible either.

do not take this class. She thinks this is like a 300 level course. there are two exams and three quizzes, research paper and giva a presentation by yourself. And you also need to read two books. I've never had to do so much work for a 100 level course in my life.

She is alright, but you can't understand like anything she says due to the heavy accent. The text is horrendous, and you have to read other books in addition to the text. My suggestion - don't take this course, and if you do, make sure its with someone else!

I wasn't going to take this class, but now that I did I dont regret it. She's very nice and pretty easy. Her lectures can be very boring because of her thick accent but you learn to cope with it. 2 quizzes, 1 paper, a midterm and final. She provides all the notes to study for, so i reccomend her

Ok, so the accent is a little heavy, but you learn to understand it... Other than that she really really is a nice teacher and she makes it clear what she wants you to know. Do most of the work and its an easy A/B...

Yes, this teacher has a heavy accent and it's a bit hard to understand her but she is a GOOD teacher and does her best to be clear.(writes important stuff on board) if you show an interest she will go out of her way to help you. if your normally a bad listener then you shouldnt take the class.

she is a nice lady. her problem comes from her accent. she is VERY hard to understand and calss is boring consisting only of lectures which you cant understand if you dont speak russian. she is a nice lady and not overly hard, but her accent makes it terrible.

She's a good teacher. SHe defenitely knows what she's talking about and has experience in the field. If you aren't interested in anthropology though don't take it cause she doesn't teach on a basic level-she teaches so you get the concepts and ideas not just the credit.
