Professor MacLin was incredible! Some people see her class having a lot of work, but it is definitely manageable. Only had class one day a week, the other being "online". Her lectures were so interesting as she really cares about the topic. She has great connections and makes things very easy to understand! I really enjoyed her!

I had MacLin for my intro to psychology course and I absolutely loved her! She makes the lectures worth going to because she will occasionally give out random extra credit point just for showing up. Before every test, she emails a list of topic to review & those are on the test! She is great at explaining terms and concepts for college students.

Motivation and Emotion was a very interesting course with Maclin. We had no exams but had a decent amount of work. Two assignments due every week and you had to watch a 2 hour long movie every week as well outside of class. I love the professor but maybe wouldn't take this class again

Great class. You have a lot of reading to do and 2 blogs due each week. Not bad overall but you will work for your grade. She gets back to you in a timely fashion if you do have any questions. I have taken her for two classes and would take another with her without evening thinking about it. Would for sure recommend.

Motivation and Emotion with Maclin is a lot of work but the topic is extremely fascinating and you come away as a better writer. You can receive feedback on your posts if you ask but remember that the TAs grade the blog posts (though not the papers). Good opportunities for extra credit and Maclin is hilarious.

A great lecture teacher, but assigns so much busy work. She is very unorganized and does't explain her expectations very well. If you take intro to psych with her, get ready for two 500 word essays every week. It gets to be a lot, especially if you are taking other tough courses.

I have taken several classes with her. Overall, she teaches interesting classes. She has a fun, spunky personality which makes time fly. The downfalls: LOTS of papers and reading, no feedback, does not respond to emails well, very forgetful, super unorganized. A friend had her write letters to grad school and Kim turned them in over a MONTH late.

Two 500 word papers a week, but once you get the hang of them they don't take too long. Study guides were a good indicator of what would be on her quizzes, so as long as you study a bit they aren't bad. So much extra credit so as long as you do decent on the papers and quizzes you should get an A.

The blogs are very easy. She is not very clear on when things are due. She accepts late work. She failed me because I turned something in the day after the class was "over". If it was not a mandatory class I would never take it again. She replies super late, & gives little to no feedback. Very frustrating.

I took intro to psychology as an honors course with Professor MacLin. She is super knowledgeable about her area so the lectures were great. All we had for assignments were two blogs a week which we always got 100% for, a book report, and a final poster. Would definitely take again.

You turn in 2 blog posts a week, 3 other assignments, a book report and a final paper. Instructions are not very clear and she provides no feedback on grades. She takes forever to respond to emails as well as post grades. I would not recommend unless you are looking for a lot of work with little to no feedback.

I took the class online and it isn't terrible. There are 2 posts each week, 3 extra assignments, a 5 page and an 8 page paper. Watch movies and do a post over it most weeks which you have to get. At first the TAs grade easy but are told to grade hard later and make it really difficult. Lot of busy work at the end of the class but there are no tets

Lectures are useless, by the time she lectures on a chapter you've already turned in all assignments relevant to the material. If you thought you understood something and you didn't, too bad, because the assignments are already turned in. Lectures add absolutely nothing to the book. EASY grader, meet the word count on blogs and you get an A.

Seems nice, easy class, but she acts like she doesn't care at all about her job. Constantly complaining about how early a 9:30 class is, kept her coat on all through lecture like she couldn't wait to get out of there. ZERO feedback on ANY assignment unless you take her time and yours outside of class to email her. Lectures add nothing to readings.

2 blogs due a week, each a 550 word minimum. Her lectures are interesting, but her quizzes are not a reflection of what is taught. Good professor. Pretty funny. It's easy to do well in the class if you do well on the blogs.

LOVED HER! Class only meets on Thursday's unless you have a quiz then you go to class on Tuesday and take it and leave. Homework is 2 blog posts a week and 1 book report and you choose the due date. She makes her lectures fun, and the quizzes aren't that hard.

This class is a ton of work. you will write 2 500 word blog posts every week, as well as read a chapter once a week. Tests are over very specific material. Fun to listen to in lecture.
