She was excited about teaching this subject, which helps a lot. I never had to ask for help b/c I read the handouts like she said to & studied hard. Passed w/ a B! I'm holding out to take BIO 310 when she teaches it again.

Grading is very strange and biased. My experience with her seemed that she was quick to dismiss when I asked her for help, but seemed to give good explainations to other students, especially female, non-ethnic students.

I don't believe teaching is her first or second or even third priority. I think it is very low on her list b/c she hardly seems to invest any time in it. She makes it seem like 310 is just another "hoop" that all Bio majors must jump thru.
