Goes too fast and assumes you understand the first time, gets frustrated when you ask him to repeat or clarify. Doesn't teach the subject well, often focuses on irrelevant things or complicated useless examples. Lectures are long and boring, not worth attending. Tests are very easy if you have the past final and take a crash course.

The lectures are useless but he takes attendance. Make sure to go to the tutorials and give yourself lots of time to think through the assignments (the documents he posts help a lot as well). This class is more of a test of your problem solving skills than anything. I found it to be challenging but also very rewarding.

This is a useless class, yes i got an A- but i worked for it, i did the assignments i studied the sample exam problems he provides and it prepared me for his midterm and final. Your in university now.. everyones comments are to avoid him. How about you listen, study, practice and you'll pass, the same with every other class.

The man thinks & speaks in CMAP (the programming language he created). His tests are more an english comprehension challenge. If it were possible (which it really isn't) I would've avoided this guy.

Do NOT take this guy! If you take him, you better study by yourself. He doesn't know how to teach. He only teaches you how to compute complicated programs. However, the midterm and final require the understanding of the basic stuffs. Also, his assignments are ridiculously long, and not related to the midterm and final. Good luck if you have him.

If you are going to take this teacher (you don't have a choice anyway), just be ready to expect the dropping of your GPA. The material is very easy, but the way you are tested through Multiple choice, most of the time the wording is incredibly confusing and it is bound to get you a bad mark if you can't think the same way he does with English.

Does not explain, asks for ridiculous assigments that takes normally 20hours of work (every two weeks aprox) Does not help you when you have questions unless you've been sitting first spot in front during lectures, takes you for a dummy. for the one class i went to he was REALLLY BAD. I dropped it and am taking this semester with a diff prof, thank god :D ..but it's more the course that is bad, the one course where work should count for a lot they make it 100% final exam. WHYYY!??!???? assignments should help you learn but his just make you feel stupid.

Don't evenbopther taking this class. I switched from civil to mechanical all because of him. You can't get a worst teacher then him. I don't know where he created his CMAP program from, it has no rfrence on the internet. You rather teach us FORTRAN lik McGILL. There are no civil students solely because of this TEACHER!
