Comment:
She has very bad attitudes towards her students. The questions on her exams mostly covered not-so-important knowledge in the textbook as well as some irrelevant points she talked about in her lectures. I did okay on her exams, but I won't recommend her class to others if you really want to learn something about psychology.

An amazing professor - passionate, charming, a real gem! Very knowledgeable, easy to be intrigued by & learn from. Exceptionally available to her students & is visible and transparent of what is expected in the classroom! Exams are heavily based on the textbooks - show up to class & read the textbook; you'll do great!

Dr. Phillips is a great person. She is charming and has personality. If you want to do well you must read the textbook, and attend lectures. She is also willing to help you and go an extra mile if you show her you're a hard worker and good student.

This woman loves psychology, and you can tell through the way that she teaches. She only lectures on additional information about the content in the textbook, so make sure that you read it, because most of her tests are based on things from the book and not her lectures.

Tough class. Multiple choice tests were pretty hard - it felt as though she was trying to prove just how smart SHE was. Her lectures were very robust...I enjoyed those. Kindof rude person, sometimes.

She doesn?t baby you through the textbook and as a result provides additional info that gives life to the theories/theorists. Her teaching style is clever, witty and informal. Hard work but well worth it. I used what I learned in other classes. I'll admit, she may seem intimidating but she's available to help if you just ask.

SHE IS VERY UNHELPFUL IF U EMAIL HER AND SHE LIED TO ME EVEN!!!! STAY **AWAY** FROM ANY OF HER CLASSES

DISRESPECTFUL TOWARDS RYERSON. IF SHE HATES RYERSON UNIVERSITY SO MUCH AND LOOKS DOWN UPON US, WHY DOES SHE COME TO TEACH HERE? FOR THE MONEY? PROFS LIKE HER SHOULD BE BANNED FROM TEACHING. SHE THINKS SHE IS SO COOL WHICH SHE IS NOT. HORRIBLE AWFUL LADY. HURT MY FEELINGS SO BAD!!!

I have taken many courses in College and Univeristy and have never seen a teacher talk to her students in such a rude manner. I will never forget the way she spoke to a student in my class. It was totally uncalled for. Her lectures and handouts were rushed and short. I would not recommend this professor to anyone.

Krista is so helpful if you approach her in just the right way. Don't give her crap and she won't give you any. Definitely agree with the "anti-Ryerson" comments, they shocked me at first but as a non-Ryerson student, spending about 2 days in that class made me understand exactly where her opinions of Ryerson come from.
